/ tooling manufacturing engineer
"The tooling manufacturing engineer
is focused on providing manufacturing-related educational
materials. The materials may be used to supplement existing
manufacturing courses or may assist students/engineers in self
study. The tooling manufacturing engineer consists of Primers:
Write-ups that provide individuals with basic knowledge and
insights on manufacturing-related topics. The primers include
tutorial type information, graphics, and are updated periodically.
Students accessing these primers may
also make use of listings of relevant research papers and
reference texts as well as links to related Web sites for further
information. As part of their research activities several
universities have developed software tools to simulate
manufacturing process behavior and attack other
manufacturing-related problems. These testbeds include
instructions on their use as well as sample testbed inputs and
outputs. It is anticipated that students may use the testbeds and
tutorials as part of their manufacturing course work." |
